You can contact your U.S. representative and your U.S. senators in several ways including; regular mail, telephone, fax machine, email, or by web site contact facility. Additionally, the MOAA web site, www.moaa.org, will send communications to them for you. Some members of Congress have email addresses while others do not. Because email addresses are spotty, I have not included them here and suggest you go to the Congressman's web site and use that format to send electronic messages to them Also most of our Alabama Congressmen have local offices as well as their Washington office. The following list gives you their Washington address, telephone and fax numbers. To obtain the same information for a local office you will need to work your way through the various levels of the governmental web sites. For senators, go to www.senate.gov and for representatives, go to www.house.gov (This is also where you find the Congressman's web site and in many cases the names of key members of his staff.)

The proper mailing address and salutation for a letter is shown for each of the nine members of Alabama's congressional delegation (so you can copy and paste it to your letter if you wish) followed by the Washington, D.C. phone and fax numbers. Because of the slowness of regular mail, I recommend you write and sign the letter, send it by fax machine, and then mail it. Also you can call the MOAA toll free number of 1(866) 272-6622 and ask the operator to connect you to your Congressman's office by name. I hope you find this information helpful in contacting them.
